FAQ

Questions about Kyulift

What is Kyulift?

Kyulift is a free Android gym workout logger. You log sets, follow a weekly split or program, and earn strength ranks from F to S based on what you lift compared with your bodyweight.

How do the ranks work?

Each big lift (bench, squat, deadlift, overhead press, row) gets a letter from your estimated one-rep max divided by your bodyweight. A lift counts once you reach it on 2 separate days, and every letter also needs training weeks (weeks with 2+ workouts). Ranks never drop.

Is Kyulift free?

Yes, logging, ranks, charts and backups are free, with no ads. Kyulift Pro is an optional upgrade: $2.99 for life at launch, later $4.99 a year (7-day free trial) or $14.99 for life. Your free 7-day Pro trial unlocks when you reach rank D.

Does Kyulift need an account or see my data?

No. There is no account and no server. Your workouts stay on your phone. Health Connect and Android backup are optional and stay under your control.

What are RIR and RPE?

Optional ways to note how hard a set was. RIR is reps in reserve (how many more you could do); RPE is the same on a 1-10 scale. They never change your targets or ranks.

When is it out?

Kyulift is in testing now and coming to Google Play soon.
